TeX macros for typesetting chord grids
This is a set of macros for TeX (and most likely also LaTeX, although I didn't try) for those who want to typeset grids of
chords. The coding is simple, very fast and produces a rather nice output. Look at the astronomy_dominé file below for a
first glance.
If you have suggestions or special needs that are likely to be useful for many other people, you can send an email and
perhaps I will add the feature. Of course, if you are a TeXpert, you should better do it by yourself. The same holds for bug
reports/corrections.
Available for download:
- chordgrid macros v0.92 (.tex): TeX file containing the macros. These macros are
free and placed under the GNU GPL.
- cg-doc (ascii text file): information about the macros and parameters. The same
in french.
- cg-example (.tex): example source file (to be compiled) using chordgrid
macros.
- astronomy dominé (.ps): a more general example of what is possible by using
TeX for typesetting music. It uses both the chordgrid macros and musicTeX macro package by Daniel Taupin (look in the
CTAN).
